Groomsmen and bridesmaids are usually the closest friends or relatives of the bride and the groom. Their duty does not only include walking down the aisle, but also assisting the bride and groom during the wedding ceremony. To give each of them a gift as a token of appreciation is but right. But how do the bride and the groom choose bridesmaids and groomsmen gifts?

1. Scout for Personalized Gift Stores
Because you both wish to provide a gift with personal touch, go to gift stores with lots of personalized stuff. Either you use their ideas or you buy one from them and do a little tweak to add your own design. A little tweak could mean as easy as putting their names on each item you bought. Personalizing a gift does not mean being expensive. You can choose something affordable. What matters most is the effort you, as the bride and the groom, make.

2. Check Online
The internet offers many things, even gift ideas for your bridesmaids and groomsmen. Start surfing the internet and browse all the images available in order to choose the best for them.

3. Think about What They May Need During the Wedding Day
The easiest way to think of gift ideas for your bridesmaids and groomsmen is to know the things they need during the wedding days. Girls will need make up, handbag or even accessories, such as necklace. Guys will need cufflinks, ties, and socks, among others. Think about the things they will most appreciate from both of you.

To save you time, buy jewels from jewelry stores instead. This is considering you only have one or two pairs of bridesmaids and groomsmen because if not, this may be a costly idea. But, you may want to consider a more affordable one, like initial pendant necklace in sterling silver.

5. Ask Other People
If both of you do not want to think too much, but is willing to give your bridesmaids and groomsmen gifts they will treasure and will allow them to feel most special, your family, relatives or friends may be able to help you. Surely, they have wonderful gift ideas.

6. Think about what is Hot
Giving them what’s hot or what’s in is truly a special gift from a special friend. Now, what is this something hot? Surf the internet or read magazines. They have feature stories of what stuffs people are into nowadays.  

7. Consider their Hobbies and Interests
Surely, these bridesmaids and groomsmen have hobbies and interests. Buy each of them an item that is related to his/her hobbies and interests. If one of your bridesmaids loves to play badminton, buy her a racquet; if one loves to cook, buy her a cookbook. If one of your groomsmen love to play golf, buy him a golf cap (not the club, it may be too expensive for a gift); if one loves to go to the gym, buy him a gym shirt.
